Chandrababu Naidu, who set up Heritage Dairy in 1992, enacted the Mutual Aid Co-operatives (Max) Act in 1995 when he became the Chief Minister. All the rules are broken . Visakhapatnam, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, Nellore and Kurnool districts She said the dairies were badly brought under the Max Act by the Chandrababu government.

Chittoor Dairy closes for Heritage.

Dorababu also known as BS Raja Narsimhulu was made the Chairman of Chittoor Dairy and was successfully shut down by him. She said that as a reward for that, he was made an MLC.

Chittoor Dairy once competed with ‘Heritage’ and in 2003 Chandrababu issued orders to shut it down and the co-operative sector was systematically murdered, recalled Shailaja Charan Reddy, General Secretary and Regional Coordinator, YSSRCP State Women’s Section, Puthalpattu Constituency In-Charge.

She said the dairies were badly brought under the Max Act by the Chandrababu government.

She said it was still unfair to transfer the Visakhapatnam District Co-operative Society in 2006 and the Prakasam District Co-operative Societies under the Producer Companies in 2013

Would anyone today call Sangam Dairy a cooperative dairy? Former TDP MLA Narendra Chowdhury is running it as a private company. She explained that the co-operative sector was thus murdered according to a method.
