People To Analyze Pros And Cons With Wisdom Before Casting Their Vote :KCR

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao vowed to complete the Nellikal Lift Irrigation Scheme and irrigate a major portion of the Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency within next one-and-a-half year. He also promised to provide Godavari water to irrigate the ayacut under the Nagarjuna Sagar by pumping water through Palair reservoir and Pedadevulapalli tank.

Addressing a massive public meeting at Haliya on Wednesday ahead of the Nagarjuna Sagar bypoll, the Chief Minister declared that he would not seek votes in the next elections without completing the lift irrigation schemes sanctioned in Devarakonda, Miryalaguda, Huzurnagar and Kodada Assembly constituencies

Chandrashekhar Rao urged people to analyse the pros and cons with wisdom before casting their vote on April 17. He reiterated that people need not cast votes based on his promises and should consider the good work done by the TRS government since the State formation. “You cannot feed a donkey and expect the cow to give milk,” he cautioned, urging people to vote for TRS candidate Nomula Bhagath.

Assuring an MLC seat to TRS leader Koti Reddy soon, Chandrashekhar Rao said the Nagarjuna Sagar constituency would soon have two legislators. He said he would visit Nagarjuna Sagar within two weeks of the byelection results to unveil a development plan for the constituency. He promised to supply irrigation water to Tirumalagiri Sagar mandal within next one-and-a-half year. He also announced plans to upgrade the existing BC residential welfare school at Nagarjuna Sagar (Nandikonda municipality) into a degree college and also construct a Shaadikhana for the benefit of Muslims in Haliya. He promised to resolve the problem of the Irrigation Department lands in the Nandikonda municipality limits and issue land pattas to the eligible soon.

The TRS president slammed Congress candidate and former Minister K Jana Reddy, who boasts of a career spanning over 30 years, and demanded him to explain why he failed to get at least a degree college sanctioned to the Nandikonda municipality. He said Telangana was treated like an orphan before the TRS was formed and held the Congress leaders responsible for the condition in the Telangana region in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. He sought to know what did the Congress achieve for Telangana and its people during its 60-year-rule
