CM YS Jagan presented Ugadi Distinguished Service Awards to the volunteers. On this occasion, The state government today launched the Ugadi festival in recognition of the services of volunteers who have played a key role in providing welfare programs and various schemes to the people at home. Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy formally inaugurated the program in Poranki, Krishna District Penamaluru Assembly constituency.

The best services are provided by volunteers. “We are giving away Rs 10,000 for the Seva Mitra Award, Rs 20,000 for the Seva Ratna Award and Rs 30,000 for the Seva Vajra Award,” YS Jagan said. The CM said the government was spending Rs 240 crore on the awards. It was revealed that these awards are presented every year. From today, the program will be held in one constituency per day in each district. CM YS Jagan called on the people’s representatives and officials to be partners in the event.
Minister Perni Nani commented that Chandrababu was rotting at the sight of Jagananna Army. Today, house to house welfare schemes are being received. He said that CM Jagan is definitely serving the people. The whole country is proud of the rule of CM Jagan. CMs of other states are copying CM Jagan’s plans. He said that volunteers have become a household name. He appreciated that all the village ward volunteers were working well. The minister called on the people to work in the same spirit in the future as well.
YSRCP MLA Parthasarathy said that CM Jagan was constantly striving to do good to the people. CM Jagan is leading the state towards a golden future. He recalled that many leaders in the country appreciated the volunteer system. Prime Minister Modi also praised the volunteer system. At present, welfare schemes are being provided to households. The country is always looking towards AP. “Villages have become platforms for public issues. Problems are solved quickly without the intervention of the middleman. Corruption-free transparent governance is in place in the state. During the rule of CM Jagan every poor person got an assurance. Gandhiji’s dream of village self-government has come true ” ,said MLA Parthasarathy .
A cash prize of Rs 228.74 crore was given to 2,20,990 people in 175 constituencies. Seva Vajra Award of Rs. 30,000 / – cash award, memento and badge for 5 persons in each constituency.
Seva Ratna Award of Rs. 20,000. This category includes 3,295 people in 695 zones, 545 people in 109 municipalities and 10 people in 16 municipal corporations. 2,18,115 people from 175 constituencies were given cash prizes of Rs 10,000 under the Seva Mitra Award.
