Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) veterans LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi are expected to attend the much-awaited ‘bhumi pujan’ of the Ram Temple at Ayodhya on August 5 via video conferencing.

The invitations are being co-ordinated by Champat Rai, the General Secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which was set up by the Supreme Court after its landmark verdict in November last year.

Former Union Minister Uma Bharti, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat  Kalyan Singh have already received their invitations.
